141117 Blue Monday之二

The Head and the Heart 自從我在London的 Rough Trade發現他們之後，
對他們的愛意便一發不可收拾 (笑)
在follow完 How I met your Mother (美國影集)後，
劇中有好多季的配樂都是用The Head and the Heart來作陪襯，
不僅僅歌詞厚度夠，
編曲也讓聽者感受到環繞式的溫暖 :)

 


Gone 這首歌給我的感觸很深很深，
記得2014年1月初在波蘭交換，
某個失眠的夜晚突然意識到和在歐洲遇見的朋友們，
就快要 就快要 就快要
道別了
是個下雪的凌晨，
依稀記得原本正在查波蘭國情概論課的資料，
查著查著一不小心就開始聽歌，
放著跨年剛從Rough Trade買回來的Let's Be Still CD，
聽著聽著到最後一首《Gone》眼淚就流個不停 :(

"Take back your pictures
 Take back your letters
 Don't send me no postcards
 Telling me you miss me
 Cause I'm trying here, I'm trying here"

"And fuck what they're saying
 My mind is made up
 And they're all just starving
 Like the rest of us
 And I'm trying here, I'm trying here"

雖然知道朋友無論距離多遠
都還是不會忘記彼此。
然而『距離』是一位bitch 你知道的，
它最會的莫過於挑撥離間。

歌曲開場就有股烏雲罩頂的憂鬱，
手風琴、鋼琴、班鳩琴(我推測的)零星交錯的旋律，
配上悠悠又悶悶的vocal，
即便副歌出來後的氣勢加大，
最終你還是知道的
原來
自己
還是
一個人。

Blue Monday真不是蓋的，呵。
